Rejected fingerprints are the most common avoidable delay in a federal application. Ink cards smudge, ridges over-roll, and you don't find out until weeks later when the agency sends the cards back and you start over.
We capture all ten fingers on a live scan scanner. The software checks each impression for quality as it's taken, so a bad roll is caught and redone in the moment rather than discovered a month later. From that one capture we can produce an electronic EFT file, printed FD-258 cards, or both.
Which format do you need?
This is the question almost everyone arrives with, and the answer comes from the agency receiving your application — not from us.
FD-258 cards
The FBI's Applicant Fingerprint Form — a physical card. Still required by many agencies, and by ATF applications filed on paper. Mailed in duplicate.

What we handle

What to bring
- A valid government photo ID for every person being printed.
- Any instructions or forms from the requesting agency.
- If you're filing as a trust, bring the trust documents and everyone who needs printing — additional people are $25 each in the same appointment.
Requirements change. ATF has proposed amendments to its fingerprint and photograph requirements for firearms applications. Confirm what your application currently requires before your appointment — the receiving agency sets the rules, and they're the final word.
